Batch Dinner

last friday, we had our batch dinner at italliani's restaurant at fort bonifacio. it was so great to see each other again, catching up on things, chatting away. i hitched a ride with gayle and her husband, albert. and since we arrived before the others, we decided to dropped by at sonja's cupcakes to have our dessert! yes! dessert for us before the actual dinner hahaha! our cupcakes were too sweet, gayle got the chocolate flavored cupcake while i got a pistachio-strawberry. my cupcake was tough, looks like it spent a couple days in the freezer. gayle and i decided that we had better ones. oh well, so much for us eating dessert before meeting our ka-batches, katakawan kasi namin ayan ang napapala hehehe...

we spotted karina and kim heading for italliani's so we decided to join them na, dots and hubby bingo arrived shortly. dottie is 6 months pregnant but doesn't look like it. arlene arrived halfway through dinner. and suprise of all, our batchmate, rommel, was able to join us. albert called him at home and invited him to join us, good thing he joined us because he brought with him funny and mischievous stories and anecdotes, these made us laugh especially the stories from way way back. kim's husband, randy, was able to join us also and he patiently sat and listened while we continue chatting and reminiscing about our college life.

surprise of all is when cherish called up dots (cherish is our batchmate based in London). we would have wanted to talk to her except that the resto is too noisy plus the line is really choppy, we couldn't hear each other. but still, the call made us missed her more.
